Advancing Residents' Upward Mobility by Fostering Dignity and Belonging, Economic Success, and Power and Autonomy
Body

Join us for an interactive session where we’ll explore the Urban Institute’s Upward Mobility Framework, a research-backed model designed to advance upward mobility and racial equity for individuals and communities. This framework provides local leaders a holistic definition of upward mobility and identifies factors they can influence to increase mobility for all people, especially those historically excluded from prosperity.

During the workshop, attendees will gain a deeper understanding of the three interconnected dimensions of upward mobility: dignity and belonging, economic success, and power and autonomy. We’ll provide practical insights and strategies to implement in your community.

Our guest speaker Christopher Rush from the Rochester-Monroe Anti-Poverty Initiative will share how his organization is applying the Upward Mobility Framework in local programs to improve the lives of residents in the community. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and interact directly with speakers to gain valuable insights for creating lasting change.
